My mother does not have a beard!

Ne'er fear, my children! Alive I am and alive I shall remain until I die my rock star death choking on my own vomit in a trashed hotel room. [Which may or may not be what I answered to the "Where do you see yourself in ten years?" question on the survey Frau Costich passed out.]

I'm sure you're wondering what has happened in the time since I last blogged. A lot, my little cabbages, a lot.

I watched The Governess, which has the lovelylovelylovely Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. [And by lovely I mean naked! Eeeeee!] He plays obsessive puppy love exceedingly well. Cruel, cruel Minnie Driver. [NOT TO SPOIL THE MOVIE OR ANYTHING. OH, AND THEY ALL DIE. AND THE TITANIC SINKS. AND DARTH VADER IS LUKE'S FATHER.] There's one moment where he puts his head on his little sister's shoulder and it is simply adorable beyond words. Squee!

I also watched Truly Madly Deeply which I can't believe I hadn't seen earlier. The scene where they sing "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" has won a place as one of my favourite scenes in a movie ever. Well, at least in an Alan Rickman movie. Definitely in a Juliet Stevenson movie [as I've only seen her in three things ever, including this]. And when he recites the Neruda poem? So good. Such a fabulous movie. Me = teh sobbing, even after the credits were finished.

Sylvia is here and she's very sweet. KT and I took Sylvia and Juliane [KT's exchange student] to the Rodin museum on Wednesday. It was rather smaller than we had expected, but of course size doesn't matter! Sculpture is not really my thing [I think it's more fun to make than to look at], but I did enjoy the hands. I like hands.

And today was school!

1: Lots of nice people in my class; seating chart arranged so that I am surrounded by none of them.
2: Attended orientation assembly; was told hats and headbands were not allowed. [Was already told earlier that bandanna was verboten, so rolled it into a headband, but that apparently is also against the rules. Oh, well.]
3: Physics lab, rah. Aaron Todd is in class! :D And Sage. And other nice people. Shall be fun, methinks.
4: More physics. x.x
5: Kummer! Huzzah!
6: Teacher is slightly scary and gave trixy test. Will be lucky if get one question correct.
7: Received book of English lit. Nice people in class, none nearby. Hate how that always happens.
8: German! Easiness on toast.

Then I missed the bus after school because the incompetent secretary lied to me about the location of my locker. [Incompetent me lost the paper with my locker information so I had to go to incompetent secretary who gave me the right locker number and combination but was completely off in regards to where my locker is.] Walked to Marisa's house, then walked home.

Tomorrow's Friday, hurrah! [After a single day of school I am already wishing for the weekend. PE tomorrow, bleh.]

You get to see me 2nd period though, Sancho. :-D

It must be weird to look at this group from the outside. Everyone has their own little relationships with each other. I mean, I get to hang with Sancho in 2nd period, making fun of all you chumps...
