"Camp isn't just a row of tents!"

When not swimming in pools for long periods of time at baby showers and reading Life of Pi, I managed to bring my times-watched-Velvet-Goldmine count up to three. It actually makes more sense after the first viewing. And Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is perhaps even more lovely after the first viewing. [Really want to see Gormenghast, only have no idea how I would go about finding it.]

jesu sismy gf (2:20:31 PM): I didn't know you liked the pretty boys!
jesu sismy gf (2:20:40 PM): I had you down for a bit of rough kind of girl!

This is an understandable misapprehension as I would take Aragorn over Legolas any day, but yes, melikes the pretty boys. And the nancy boys, really, but that's probably due to the fact that I was a gay man in a past life. That, or I'm subconsciously rebelling against society's unrelenting insistence that a woman needs a man to be complete in sort of "Oh, yeah? Well, I want that man!" way. Or possibly have perverse desire for the unavailable and am taking it way too far.

And then of course there's always the possibility that I'm just another screwy human being with an oddly-wired brain. Yeah, probably that. ;P

Should go concern myself with Latin now as have class again tomorrow.

Life of Pi is really excellent. Bless English teachers with good tastes in books.

Speaking of required reading, Atonement has a lot of your favorite word in it.
