We played football in gym today. [American football, that is.] Well, some people played a game and others [including self] just passed a ball back and forth. Rachel Looney and I were partners and our teacher came over and was like, "Oh, you girls are good!" and we felt like football supahstahz. :D
<snob>Also, I am way ahead of my Latin class. They are all fools.
Take the word "deus," for example. Our teacher writes "Jupiter est deus" on the board. A girl guesses that the meaning of "deus" is "king." -_- Has she never heard of "deus ex machina"? "Deity"? It's really not that hard to figure stuff out. "Hominum," for example. "Sapientiae," for example. "Iratus," for example. Faugh, I was helping this boy study before the bell rang and I asked him what the word for angry was and he couldn't get it, so I was like "Think of irate," and he's like. . . "that's an English word?" ><;
We started some mythology today, which was silly, because I'm already familiar with Greek/Roman mythology, and if I'm familiar with something, everyone else should be too.
But I put up with the stupid people anyway because Latin is funfun for everyone.</snob> ^__^ Only it's tricky because I'm also learning German, right? Well, in German the letter "w" is pronounced "v." In Latin the letter "v" is pronounced "w." So "wir" [German for "we"] is pronounced "vir" and "vir" [Latin for "man"] is pronounced "wir." It's crazy stuff, y0. And tee, Mr Kummer is a Pisces. As am I. And as is the pjooey girl who thought "deus" meant "king" and is loud and annoying and in my chemistry class and says "I don't care" whenever she pronounces something incorrectly. [The Pisces thing came up when we were discussing "piscinam." ^^]
I have q. a lot of homework tonight, such as studying for a chemistry test, completing my art project [which amounts to drawing an apple core], writing a blurb about symbolism in chapter IX of The Scarlet Letter, completing a chemistry lab report, and finishing a physical map of the Libya, Egypt, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Cyprus, Turkey area. So I'll just go get started on that now. [Done my homework! . . .I'll study tomorrow morning. ^^;]
Pah. You're too smart for your own good Almeda. Good luck with the homework

Errare humanum est!
