Bugger and blast. The ACLU meeting was cancelled today, so that's a definite thumbs down. And when I called my mum, I remembered she had a doctor appointment scheduled for three o'clock today, so she couldn't pick me up. I had to stay after school and watch the silly play rehearsal, so KT could drive me home. And by KT, I of course mean Katie's pater.

On the bright side, tomorrow is ELECTION DAY! :D No school, w00t.

Today in world civ. we discussed politics [sort of] and we took a survey to find out if we were liberal or conservative. Not surprisingly, I answered liberal to twenty-three questions and conservative [to my utter shame ;D] to two. One was about affirmative action, so pah. Also in world civ. we got our tests from last fricking Tuesday back. 91/95 on mine, go team. And I got perfect on the first page [multiple choice and fill in the blank], but lost the four points on the short answer and essay. Essay, schmessay, that's what I say.

=) I learned how to say "her own" in Latin today: sua. So all I need to know is "eyes" now. ;D "Ihre Augen" is German. Well, that's "her eyes." Don't know how to say "own." xP

OH, MY FOOT! We totally watched the ending of The Crucible and it was totally the saddest movie I've ever seen. [I apologise—I'm doing the exaggeration thing again.] But really, I was definitely tearing up and I had that burning feeling in your throat when you're making an effort not to cry and it was so awful. And stupid Abigail Williams. And dear, dear John Proctor. And sweet old Rebecca Nurse. And those fools Danforth & co. And that bitch Mary Warren. Talk about peer pressure, tchah. Man, that was one of the more powerful movies I've seen in a while.
