my professor, to me, as she went around the room trying to remember everyone's name today, which also happened to be the first day this semester that i wore glasses to class. it probably didn't help that my hair was pulled back and i have pink hair in my picture on her class roster.

first day of school!

9:30am. neural basis: vision & audition.
11am. lab in visual cognition.
1pm. neurophysiology of memory.

here are some interesting things i learned:

being tested on something may help you retain the information better than studying it, once you've learned it. [the critical importance of retrieval for learning]
