but i'm late. as usual.

despite the fact that today is a student holiday, i woke up at 7:25am to go to north providence, rhode island for my new urop. i slept a little on the trip home, though, so i guess that's okay.

i also won a large egg in the student art loan.

and, in my first act as bexley co-treasurer, i bought food for the study break we had on friday. shark fruit snacks & ice cream sandwiches = num num num.

this weekend was relaxed. i cleaned our room, like the housewife i am [lauren is the manly slob in this situation]. we went out to dinner with ana last night. she's a star. i can't really remember much else. i guess i went grocery shopping, did laundry, and showered. which were my primary goals of the weekend.

as for classes, they are going smoothly, thanks for asking. although i have a paper for gender studies due friday that i am not too interested in writing. we shall see!

well, forty minutes ago. this semester i have a delightful schedule that involves no classes on friday. sweet.

so far there's been a lot of overlap among the first three, as you might imagine from the course titles. i think it's going to be a good semester.

last friday we had our first party in our new room for clifton's birthday. there was dancing and secrets and rooftop adventures. i'm sorry i neglected to invite you, christinahahaha. :-*

the next day we went sailing with niffy, who was in town for the weekend and pretty much living in our room. the weather was perfect, although i forgot my sunglasses and rian hid under the deck because of the heat. katharine chu read celebrity gossip aloud to us from some magazine.

i think i might take a nap before yoga tonight.
